Princess Notsfe's Theme - String Composition

I wrote this piece last summer as part of an orchestra composition practice. It describes Princess Notsfe's story, and I'm happy with how much of her character the music reflects. She is only shortly mentioned in the first book, but she is quite a big part of the back story for the series. Even without her majoring in the book, the tone of her fall from power matches quite well the tone of this book. I plan to make a book trailer using the piece.

Writing this book, editing, and reading and re-reading it has been a thrill! I still can't quite wrap my mind around all that work coming together in one tangible piece. I've learned so much already and the series is only just beginning. Even before I'd finished the first draft, I knew it would never be a stand-alone. I'm planning for this to be a trilogy.
