Cover Reveal!
Everyone, I am so hecking excited to finally be this close to publishing my novel! The hard copies for me and my proofreading team have been ordered, and this is the final stage before the book is released! I've been working on this book since April, taking only two months to write the first draft. I didn't expect the editing to take as long as it did, but the long time it took to polish it has been worth it and I'm so proud of the result! I already have a skeleton for the next two books and a plan for the prequel, and I cannot wait to be writing again. The world feels so real to me and the second book, now with a good foundation, will really explore the workings of it.
So many characters I had created without thought, but throughout this process, they have really grown in my affection and I'm so proud of their development. I realized that the true villains of the story are only a shadow in this first book, and I will stop here so I don't reveal too much of the next book ;)
The Fall of Notsfe
The young princess of Napsfeyne is enjoying a carefree life filled with harmless mischief and escapades until a mysterious boy appears in her room one night and delivers summons from the unfamiliar kingdom of Notsfe. Lilith finds herself suddenly burdened with the responsibilities of being an only heir to a sickly king. Eager for possible adventure, she embraces her future and dives into learning about the peculiar barrier that separates the two worlds. The princess soon realizes that she is a natural with the Fabric and in one of her escapes meets a boy who soon befriends her and becomes her guide in the streets of Notsfe. Keeping a lot of secrets herself, Lilith fails to notice that her new friend, Lisor, has some serious secrets of his own. As Lisor acts on his plans, finally made possible by their unexpected meeting, he sets in motion a series of events that threaten to collapse not only Lilith’s life but the future of the two kingdoms.
